Can anyone advise me , i have a forrester 09 deisel xs nav plus D with a banging crank and leaking crank end seal. I am told that the only route to fix this is via a short engine for about £5,000!!!! is it possible to get the bits and fix it myself. i am having trouble identifying all the exact bits i need and also the settings for the assembly, can anyone help point me in the right direction here or is the short engine the only route forward? thanks Nick
