    Hi , Go through the basics , check all codes , fuel pressure , air / fuel mix sensor ( O2 sensor in the manifold or CAT ) , be very careful cleaning your MAF .. do it as a last resort !! , Any oil on the spark plug leads where they enter the valve covers ? if so it's an easy fix definitely DIY. new seals cost pennies. check your valve clearances while your at it. Don't panic the car sounds ok and don't jump about with crazy theories. Remember ....Air , Fuel , Spark , Bang it has'nt changed in a 100 plus years.
