Upgrading car alarm on wrx sti with keyless entry/start 2013

Hi Guys and Gals

 

Was wondering if anyone upgraded their alarm on a 2013 reg sti? Read somewhere due to having keyless entry and start, makes them an easy target,like the Focus RSs and varies other vehicles. Is it worth doing? As I will be upgrading, would like to have remote start fitted aswell.
