tom_gr7 Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 i think that depends on your budget and what you want out of the car? 1
benbeckid Posted February 27, 2015 Author Posted February 27, 2015 Most reliable preferably and with sensible mods, dont mind if its got forged internals as that would be better for peace of mind
Tlag Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 What sort of age car are you looking for? JDM, UK spec? Do you need ground clearence? What do you want the car to do for you? The Legacy range over the years covers almost every angle: saloon, wagon, Outback, 2.0l, 2.5l, 3.0l, auto, manual, non turbo, single turbo, twin turbo, twinscroll turbo. With the correct servicing and looked after, they are as reliable as any car can be. It's only when they are not looked after and servicing is ignored when the problems occur.
benbeckid Posted February 28, 2015 Author Posted February 28, 2015 Want a manual twin turbo. What the difference between twin turbo and twin scroll turbo?
benbeckid Posted February 28, 2015 Author Posted February 28, 2015 Hopefully aiming to get some redundancy which would free up a bit of spends.and its gonna be used for heading home a few times to Scotland and gotta take my bike and new daughters push chair n other baby stuff :-)
tom_gr7 Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 i'd either go for a imported legacy GT or a 3ltr legacy spec b.
benbeckid Posted February 28, 2015 Author Posted February 28, 2015 What power has the 3ltr spec b? And whats the diff between the gt and gtb?
tom_gr7 Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 What power has the 3ltr spec b? And whats the diff between the gt and gtb? i think the 3ltrs are around 240, but they are a flat 6 n/a. - and I'm told they are completely solid. Im not sure of the specific differences between the gt and the gtb tbh. Tlag will probably know though.
