simple question i hope you can help with?

Hi,

i'm a new subaru owner, and have a diesel forester, 2010. i have ablue temp light showing after i start. i'm waiting until the heater light goes out, and a bit more, which is what the book said it should be, but it still keeps happening. it doesn;t stay on for long, maybe a minute or two, any ideas?

It's to let you know the engine is not warmed up I believe but would check coolant levels just to be safe
