January 2, 201610 yr yeah wont hurt if its connected,if your using proper harness then radio sould be grounded threw their,that connector is for old type wiring,subaru radio not the best,1st mod with a subaru lob the standed radio in the bin lol

January 2, 201610 yr mine is a pioneer and if i remember right i changed a setting called reginal,i turned it to off and it pics lot more channels up now,when its on it wont find half my local channels.
