April 29, 20169 yr I have a problem with the front left hand window (passenger side in UK) The window will only go down, it will not go up, I tried a different (working) switch and it made no difference. With a bit of a panic as to how I'd close the window to protect from the weather and thieves, I cut the power cable to the window motor (red wire and blue wire) and joined the red to the the blue and the blue to the red and the window closed when I pressed down side of the window switch.What could be wrong
