Matt81 Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 Hi guys and girls, ive got a 2008 wrx hatchback and was wondering if anyone's fitted these to the same vehicle ? I'm assuming they would fit mine alright ?
dgarside Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 I have them fitted to my 2014 (new shape) STi and work well. Car came with them on so can't comment on fitting. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Matt81 Posted May 7, 2016 Author Posted May 7, 2016 I've heard that they fit a 2008 wrx even thought they are meant for sti's so I may just give them a punt
dgarside Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 There isn't anything fancy on the side skirts about how they are fitted, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's exactly the same for the WRX. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Matt81 Posted May 7, 2016 Author Posted May 7, 2016 No it doesn't look like it! Don't think the Sti front lip would fit on mine though but the rear lips will I think
salsa-king Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 Give them a ring at HTautos http://htautos.co.uk/product-category/08-10-hatchback/ I think they will fit just like they do on my STi
Matt81 Posted May 8, 2016 Author Posted May 8, 2016 Ah cool they do look nice mate! Have you had yours lowered aswell ?
salsa-king Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 I swapped the std STi springs for the PRODRIVE Ebach's springs that give a 10mm drop all round. But when I'm on my 'normal' Prodrive GT2 alloys... 19" the car sits very well. These are just a winter set of STi alloys I picked up on eBay a few years back, I run them over winter. Last year (2015-16) I didn't swap them over and we had snow. This year end of Nov I swapped them.. no snow! Think I'll keep them on this summer though (they're not winter tyres) as I need a couple of 245/35/19 tyres... and not sure what to go for, so will keep these on for a change over the summer. Car does drive better on 17s though lol
