HELP! ABS light stays on but no error code?...

Featured Replies

Subaru Impreza WRX STI type UK 2006 blobeye. Currently 44k miles

Started car this morning, abs light stayed on but no error code on obd reader. Didn't come on or anything yesterday. Have been using as a daily, so the occasional foot down but no harsh braking.

Any pointers please?

You might need a better scan tool some won't find some abs faults

Come to think of it. It might be like my classic and the abs control is separate from your normal ecu

Might be vdc control module. Some code readers can't read that error. Take to dealership.

Thanks for pointers guys. If this is the case, what's the danger currently whilst driving until i can get to dealership?

You probably don't have abs right now. Other than that you are probably ok.
