May 17, 20178 yr Hi guys my 2001 impreza WRX has an issue, today when I pushed the button to activate the rear heated window the drivers mirror folded in, I stopped, pushed it back out then pushed the rear heated window button again and it folds back in! Is this a "feature" or an error, honestly it's not helpful when your going down the motorway and the mirror folds in! Any advise on how to fix this? Cheers guys.
May 19, 20178 yr I did not think the 2001 wrx had folding mirror.did not think they fitted folding mirrors till 2007 on the hatchback onward.but i could be wrong. Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk
May 19, 20178 yr Author It's weird as it only the one mirror and there is no switch to control them folding in and out, only the regular adjustment. I wonder if at some point the miror was replaced with a folding one and the heat wires wired into the folding motor?
