illapulito Posted August 5, 2017 Posted August 5, 2017 Several times over the years I have wanted to buy a Subaru Outback, including last weekend BUT the driver seat is SO uncomfortable. So much so I had to take it back after 5 mins of a test drive with a sore back. The multiple positions are excellent but I still feel I am sitting on the seat not in it. Can anything be done as it really is the car I want and will drive long distances in it. So, on this basis only, I am now thinking of getting a 3.0 Outback from around 2003 and spending money on it such as full service, willing to change shock absorbers, add stainless exhaust etc etc for a few years reliable touring. That is ... unless the sets on a new vehicle can be "fixed". I can't buy a new car as it is.
