I dont suppose anyone whould know where I can get a replacement EGTS for my boxer would you? (or the part numbers)

Had the auto elecs machine on and the front seemed okay, the rear never went over 160deg.

Cant seem to find one online anywhere! Ideally after a generic replacement.

My car wouldn't go in to re-gen mode as the EGTS was fooked. There are 2, this one is the first sensor, located right at the front center of the DPF, and you need to remove a small heat shield to get at it.

Exhaust gas temp sensor (EGTS) part number for a 2.0ltr boxer is 22629AA040.

They are cheaper from the dealers, £140 delivered.

Using a reader, you can see if yours is bolloxd as the temp reading will stay flat (mine never read over 160deg).
