Gambit
I have just posted this to another member with a petrol leak problem. My next door used some on his classic mini and worked so I would atleast try it. Not used it myself though. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/J-B-WELD-8277-Water-Weld-Epoxy-Putty-2-oz-UNDERWATER-NEW-/330769453745?pt=Motors_Automotive_Tools&hash=item4d036552b1&clk_rvr_id=522880382169&afsrc=

Gambit
No problem hope it works. And I agree I wouldn't ever put anything in it. Like you have said I'm sure it would do more damage then good :D
