I am told that I have a navigation reader in my car with a disc in it. My sat nav works ok but needs updating. I cannot find the disc reader. I was told to look in the boot, under a seat or in the glove box. But nothing. It does have a cd/ dvd player but that is not it (I don't think). It also has a slot for an SD card that is empty. My car is a 2011 Legacy. 

Directly under the cd slot is a light blue plastic panel that says DVD on it between the menu/info buttons on the left and map/dest on the right. Put your thumbnail underneath it in the centre and pull  the pannel towards you and upwards. The pannel will flick off and you can say hello to your secret CD slot for your sat nac disc...
