2016 Outback mystery switch

Featured Replies

Hi there,

My 2016 Outback has an on off switch low on the fascia below steering wheel. If I switch it on there's a display of some kind at centre bottom of windscreen which lights up. Anyone know what it is? I can't find either switch or display in the handbook. Sorry but don't know how to add pics here. Thanks

Hi,

On a previous car I owned (Rav4) a switch just like that one was used for turning of the rear parking sensors.

Probably totally irrelevant but you never know 🙂

Nope. Not irrelevant. Turns out it is aftermarket front parking sensors. Thanks 👍
