Infotainment system update or replacement??

HI All,
Hope you are well.

I have a 2017 Subaru Outback here in Ireland. And I was looking to update the head unit/infotainment system/maps etc. Is it possible to do this with a USB and if so, can anyone point me to the right location to get the correct update file?
Either that, or does anyone have a suggestion for a unit to fit and replace this, so as to have a more modern interface with android in particular, with all the bells and whistles?
any help gratefully received!
