Cambelt 2008/2009 Legacy IV Estate (BP) 2.5 i AWD 17

New here so not sure if this been asked recently. Is the engine (2009 2.5 petrol) an "interference" engine. ie If cam belt breaks is the engine damaged? Had been told it was not but not sure. Any advice very welcome Dave
