Hi all, hope you’re all well, I’ve recently bought an 04 legacy and looking to install a car play unit so I can get Bluetooth etc etc.

I tried to buy one but the bloke said i would be unable to fit is as my wiring has been “modified”.

Any help? Photos below.

Crikey thats a mess - one way I have sorted issues like this before is to remove every wire that is non-original so that it goes back to standard and then you can work forwards from there

Worth taking some notes and photos of where the wiring goes in case you want to put it back how it was

Do you know what the original wiring was?
