mpg display

On my 2011 Forester the display on top of the dashboard which shows the temperature ,current mpg and clock is it possible to delete the mpg indicator. The manual refers to turning the ignition to lock and cancelling with a button however my vehicle has a push button start and only one button to change the odometer readings which the manual does not appear to cover. Any solutions would be appreciated

Hi mate welcome to S.O.C

I won't ask why you want to cancel that ;) You naughty fella :D

Just kidding :D

If you Ignition switch to lock position and hold "+" button for five seconds should remove it. Good time of year to do it :D
