Hi rear tail gate wont open, I can hear the locking systems whirring but will not release, checked the book for the manual release, climbed in and removed cover, but no handle, just a white plastic cover containing the solenoid, any ideas where the manual release is, and why is not opening, is there a safety lock in the cab, etc.

Hi I have the book, but the picture it shows, is nothing like what's on the car, so not sure what is going on there
