tje Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 In my hawkeye, only one of the fog light switches illuminates when my sidelights are on. Are they both meant to light up? Can't see it for s#%t in the dark. Is it an easy fix if it's meant to?
Gaulson Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 I just noticed this on mine tonight and can't remember if it did before or not lol 1
BlackBosh Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 I don't have a front one but back one lights up
tje Posted April 14, 2014 Author Posted April 14, 2014 Yeah the back lights up. But the front one doesn't
BlackBosh Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 Maybe I was dreaming, I get a light in the dash not behind the button
Gambit Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 I'm sure I get a light at the top of both the front and rear if I remember I will check tomorrow mate.
Gaulson Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 I think he means the symbol for the light (that is on the switch) not the light that indicates it's on. Only pic I could find but there we go lol
Gambit Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Oh right got ya ;) yeah doesn't light up for me either :D
BlackBosh Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Probably should. I shall pull apart today and see if theres a potential blown bulb
Gaulson Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 The mystery of the none lighting up fog switch will be solved soon then :D
BlackBosh Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 And we can all stop obsessing over something as unimportant in life as this.
Gambit Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 My obsessions go much deeper and darker than this ;) 1
tje Posted April 15, 2014 Author Posted April 15, 2014 I've changed to sorting this little problem out. My near side sidelight has a dodgey connection so I have to thump my light before I go out otherwise it won't come on. I looked in the manual about how to change a bulb, as I think I just want to clean the connection, but it only says for non HID lights :( Looks like a mission to get at
