poor starting td outback

:( hi guys, new member here, just bought a 2008 diesel outback, from cold starts great, restarting from warm, coughs and splutters til it eventually comes to life,when running it pulls like a train, no smoke, idles smoothly, the car has done 90000 miles, with full history ect, really like the car, but this is quite frustrating, any ideas would be welcome

Cooling temp sensor would maybe my 1st guess mate. But could be 02 sensor or MAF maybe. Does it have any ECU light's on. ?
