keithmb
Hi all Bought a 2.0 Wagon on friday just been doing a few bits under the bonnet and noticed some of the pipes have had screws put in the ends of them. I wll get some pics posted so you can see where they are but on the off chance someone might know why they have done this. Cheers in advance. Pinson-89
I'm new to the scoob scene but I'm assuming the previous owner has blocked off some vac pipes maybe he had a boost gauge or some sort of vacuum leak I'm sure someone more clued up will give a good answer
Ash007ks
one of mine has a screw in it, does it have a dump valve, if not could be for that or as stated is probably just a spare vac pipe.
keithmb
No dump valve noticed about 3/4 pipes with the same Looks like he had some kind of gauge mounted to the door pillar at some point.

Ash007ks
Vac hoses that have been blanked off and very poorly to say the least, go to Halfords and get the vac hose and replace the ones with screws, add screws to the new vac pipes and cable tie to make sure they dont fly out.
