WRX bugeye cylinder 2 misfire

I'm having problems with an engine code of p0302 cylinder 2 misfire I've had the injectors cleaned I've put a new set of plugs and a compression test which was fine and I still have this code any suggestion would be gratefully received

which fuel you using ? and have you checked the coil packs ?

Evening gambit yes I've swap the coil packs over from 1-2 and it didn't change the code and I'm running super unleaded

Possible causes could be,

Faulty spark plug or wire Faulty coil (pack) Faulty oxygen sensor(s) Faulty fuel injector Burned exhaust valve Faulty catalytic converter(s) Running out of fuel Poor compression Defective computer.

Thanks for the reply it's has no cats it got new sensors had new plugs swapped coil packs injectors have been removed and clean with jets now perfect

And compression test done with all cylinders around 150

That rules pretty much all of it out then :(

 

I know the bugs are a bit of a pain if you have a lightened flywheel in for throwing the misfire code up, only other thing I can think of is what sort of induction kit do you have on make sure it's a non oiled one. I've heard of people replace the Battery and never had it happen again so if it's a bit old and on it's way out might be the Battery. if the fuel filters not been replaced for along while worth maybe looking at that too. If I can think of anymore mate I will add them up :D

Thanks gambit most appreciated fly wheel is standard it's a none oiled filter Battery did die on me while in the garage and charged it back up so I will swap it over and see what happens :-)
