Sorry I have not been on for a bit been busy with work some updates I painted my alloys and got rid of the full center covers and added center caps as I like the alloys better with out them I have also got to put a set of new rocker cover gaskets this weekend then she will be on the road with a full mot wow did not think this day would come she is not finished by a long shot still so much to do to get her back to respectable but the light at the end of the tunnel is getting closer

The 1st coat is done on the drivers rear well and damper has been stripped and refreshed

That look very good I think you are right with the silver fmic on my old one I had the fmic painted black so then it did not look like it had been cut but when you looked you could see it had a fmic

Wow that’s like new I like the look of this car so much I normally don’t warm to silver cars but for some reason This grabs me I think it’s just the right amount of black and silver looks aggressive and I must say that’s the cleanest body shop I have ever seen

I have now started the wheel well refresh cleaning and painting ready for the springs

Right where do I start done some more to the car bit of cleaning and painted the head lights ect fitted a short shift to the car and modified a v4 rear spoiler

That is coming along so well that am really happy for you and I no it’s been a pain in the **** but you have to ask yourself 1 thing. if you have never been hit would you of had all the other work done 🙂 its going to look so good in the sun at your 1 st meet and you will hear people saying how clean the car is. if they where closer to me I would have them do some paint on my car

Did a bit of cleaning when I got home and put my painted parts back on loose as I have not finished it yet just wanted to see what it will look like

Yes mate black oem plastic I only upgraded mine to colour code ones you are welcome to the. But the rubber seals that sit on the top I used for mine but you can take them off yours they are already boxed so it’s no biggie to send them mate to help some one out

I have a side skirt both parts if you need it mate you can have it just pay postage

Hello mate thanks for the offer but I want to try and stay 17” if poss i fitted the uk rear lights did some more cleaning behind the lights trim ect then fitted the rear spatts what a job it was also how do I get the black trims of by the rear windows

I have a set of uk rear light to replace the ones on there till I can get some sti lights also the alloys will be coming off for a set that will suit the car better soon

Then I woke up this afternoon after being on nights and to my surprise the valiter over the road got the keys of my other half this morning and well decided to fining the bonnet properly for me ha ha to say mixed emotions to say the lest ha ha but in the end the bonnet is ok but it will need to be done ASAP

Well I did some polishing on the bonnet yesterday as the old owner painted it him self and it was dull to say the lest I got it so far with my mop .

Hi mate thanks have you not has an answer yet call and bug them I started it up Sunday did the coolant bleed and checked the oil all ok sat there happy then checked the fans activated all ok it’s getting there now also took off the black side skirts and checked the sills I must admit I was worried about this part I will let the pictures do the talking to say I am happy so far is an understatement

Engine is now in today did a school boy error today so I had to take it back out and put it back in. after putting all the bolts in for the gear box and the engine mounts I went to the back of the car and thought why have I got 2 clutch release bearings sat here then it hit me oh crap I forgot to put it in well out it came again lol so I have filled the oil filter and left it over night so I can top it up tomorrow then put the coolant in if I remember rightly to bleed the system I need to take off the small pipe of the header tank I have disconnected the crank and cam sensor so I can prime the system cant wait it’s like Xmas morning ha ha

I am trying I probably could have started with a better condition car but I bet we all say that. the rain has stopped play at the moment as I want to refresh and paint the alternator and power steering pump and air con pump I keep wanting to rush the engine back in but no I have to wait as there is to much to do before hand. i just got a quote from a body shop if I supply the repair panels they will cut the rear arches out and replace them and paint for £450.00 per side also £300 for a bear metal repaint of the bonnet this includes blending into the wings. and £400 to repaint f/ bumper and side skirts and rear spatts do you think this is a good price he also said windows out repaint £3000 this price will include the rear arches and side skirts
