What have you done to your Subaru today ?
Got a stock 2006 wrx. Had a cobra cat back fitted in place of the factory exhaust. The sound is awesome!

Hello? Anyone active?
I thin I've been to that before back when I lived up north. Live in Cambridgeshire now so won't be able to make it. Would have gone too.

Hello? Anyone active?
Bit far north for me to travel just for a meet. If I was still living in Newcastle I could have travelled.

Hello? Anyone active?
Joined the forums a few weeks ago and haven't seen much activity in the east of England forum. I'm originally from the north east but live in Huntingdonshire. Anyone know of any local meets for subaru owners?

2006 wrx milltek cat back with what downpipe
I've been looking on demon tweaks website. They do a full cobra turbo back system with a sports cat and resonated mid pipe for just under £1k. So I'll probably end up getting that. I'm hoping it brings out the burble. The stock exhaust needs to be at 3k rpm before I even hear it. Thanks for the advice mate, appreciated!

2006 wrx milltek cat back with what downpipe
As long as it's not too loud, i'm not too fussed. I'd prefer a decent branded one so i know it should last. Will any new age wrx exhaust fit? Also, where should i look? i've been checking on ebay, gumtree and in the for sale section on this forum but haven't seen too many.

2006 wrx milltek cat back with what downpipe
Hi guys, I'm looking for some advice. My 2006 Hawkeye wrx has got it's standard exhaust on it but is looking quite rusty. I'm looking to replace it and also stick a catted downpipe on it. I can't find the milltek one on any of the websites I've looked on. Will any downpipe fit with the milltek cat back? Or will I have to find a milltek downpipe for it to fit properly? Only reason I'm changing the downpipe is because the connector on the downpipe side of the gasket is looking pretty rusted and may brake off at some point. Any help appreciated.

Finally - 2006 WRX STi (PPP)
Welcome to the forums and to Subaru. Lovely car you got there mate. I don't have much experience with subaru as it's my first too (got mine last week) so no recommendations from me. Enjoy!

06 haweye WRX. Map or accessport (or similar)
To be honest, I'm kinda feeling that's gonna bed the way I'll go. Who gets a car mapped and wants to drive it stock. The Cobb would have been nice to have the option, but realistically...I probably wouldn't ever use the stock map. Thanks for your advice mate. Appreciated

Anyone got any advice on this? Been looking at pricing for the future and would like to get my hands on a cobb access port or something similar to use so i can go back to stock if i need to.

St Ives, Cambridgeshire (no respect)
Do not take your car here and park in the town centre if you don't want your car damaged. People have no respect for other people's cars. Bought a good looking 2006 wrx on Wednesday at 15:00. By 14:00 the next day someone had already hit it trying to parallel park behind me. Took my daughter and other half to a picnic day in the park this afternoon, come back to my car with yellow paint etched into my rear drivers side door. Obviously whoever was parked next to me had no respect and opened their door onto mine. End rant

New hawkeye WRX owner
Bought it from some used car dealer in Peterborough so didn't have too much of a look around. I took it to get some Bridgestone potenza s001 tyres today, only 2 for the front. Still need to get a couple for the back. While it was in I looked at the exhaust and it's rusty from behind the back box to the front. I don't know if I'm gonna have to buy a new cat, but the exhaust is gonna need replacing before it's MOT in January. Hopefully the cat is ok for the time being while I figure out what needs doing to it.

I'm guessing it's a package of upgrades to the base model. Got heated leather seats, sunroof etc etc.

Yes mate. They're quite comfortable for leather buckets

Thanks mate, yeah it's in good shape. A little too quiet for my liking but the other half doesn't like loud exhausts. So probably not gonna get the opportunity to upgrade. Still love it though. Really nice cars to drive.

Thanks dude. It certainly was worth the wait. It's all stock at the minute so not much of a bubble. Gonna have to really work on the other hand to let me get even just a backbox, thinking about a milltek as they're supposed to be pretty conservative (volume wise).

New hawkeye WRX owner
Hey guys, Just joined the forums. Been wanting an Impreza WRX/STI for the best part of 16 years. Finally I bought one after looking to replace a L200. Got a good looking 2006 silver hawkeye with 67k miles on the clock that seems to run perfectly (though never even been in a Subaru before this one)
