  4. Got some nice STI SH9 Upgrades from Japan and full hard race roll correct with set of almost new wrx garb alloy front lower arms to enhance the from end, so some fitting of bits to now fit in when we’ll enogh
  5. Car progressing slowly due to my health, but found a none rotten rear subframe so time to start the clean up and then full rebuild and transfer of it to the car to extend it life.
  6. Well car is running and pulling well, just need to swap out the gearbox and fit big front brakes so I can actually stop, originals are very very poor!
  7. Hi, got any diagrams of the 2009- forester gearbox 6 speed? all new tyres so all exactly the same for rolling size issue cheers
  8. Hi folks, looking for best advice my forester has had a hard life and been off the road for over a year till yesterday when it passed its MOT. I have notice that on turning I am experiencing wheel wind up which I think is a sticky centre diff, possibly as it’s Sat so long. my question is 1 what is best oil to flush out the manual gearbox? And then refill it? 2 what is the centre diff unit like to change on the car and what sort of cost for a new one? 3 would I be able to put in a better gearbox and rear diff matching but keep rest of my drive train without wiring issues etc for the car any help would be great 👍
  9. Post pics if you want a real response buddie
  10. So passed MOT car driven first time in a year, had to get a front anti roll bar link as it was a bit iffy, got new h/duty ones ordered, couple of jobs still yo do, Powerflex rear subframe bush inserts to fit…… and then all fluid changes after a couple of weeks to flush out the systems. anyone recommend best flush oil for the diff’s and gearbox? cheers Rob
  11. Moved to the drivers seat area, with a forester tourer 2012 dash swap as the push start system avoids any immobiliser issues, a tidy steering wheel and it looks so much better
  12. Been busy under rear end got 4 wheel alignment completed, and looks nice and tidy
  13. Decided with decent weather, to G6 compound the whole exterior and then machine polished to glass finish!
  14. So engine all in and burped with new coolant, first start up since install done ✅
  15. So some more work completed, engine complete except for fitting new water pump, then onto the engine crane to allow new clutch fitting before refitting into the car. engine bay corrosion all addressed and then sprayed with hard finish smooth black, better than the dull base seal coat from the body shell dip many years ago. new clutch release bearing fitted, new clutch braided hose fitted and full flushed and bled through. Uprated rear gearbox/engine support mounting billet fitted, to uprate the floppy standard mount. getting close to get the lump back in the hole. new fuel filter and re-work of the entire filter housing to be done prior to refitting.
  16. Yes please that would be great
