i prefer turbo power personally thats all -
yeah poor maintenance usually , Or thrashed too much and bottom end let go 200 in miles mate , Costs me about 60 quid to fill my tank with optimax whatever but i only do that every 6-8 weeks lol but i have empties a tank in less than 100!

A classic wagon ? Standard ? You will prob get 200/250 miles to a tank but they are tiny tanks ! Service is simple dump the oil at least every 3k then maybe every second service do the diff oil High miles are ok if looked after one my mates had one iver 200k !!

I paid 40 for all 3 gauges and a tenner for the pod I think

I got a gauge pod in centre of dash think it looks smart ! On my old one had them in the pillar but stuck out too far for me

Yeah I had the cheapo hoses before they are useless even at standard boost

Yeah a apexi unit can be had with controller for about 300 Then a map is about 200 - 300

Yeah my mate is into micro hatch performance cArs , he had a micra super sport as his first car now has a weapon of a Renault 5 running 1.7 bar on a td05 turbo He is importing one those should be on road come March
