  3. thanks mate :) i know it was shocking. oil was like muddy water. same sort of stuff comes out of my rear end sometimes :P thanks god there is none of that nasty **** on the road over here. she feels like new car too lol
  4. Ok so finally weather has cleared for a bit and that meant me treating scooby to some tlc. She got 4 brand new tyres and tracking done. Then another bottle of redex fuel system cleaner + full tank obviously :) Also i had 5L of Motul Motylgear gearbox and differential oil from Opie oils sitting in the boot so got that changed and been pretty shocked to find that it hasnt been done in 10 years!!! how can people drive like that? Also found that on diff the filler plug was rusted in so had to soak it in wd40 and broke one ratchet on it :( if i recall correctly gearbox was supposed to hold 3.5L of oil and diff about 800ml, well i got 2.5L out of gearbox and 600ml from diff . new oil made sooo much difference. its a lot smoother and quieter now. After all was done she got washed, waxed, put rear mudflaps on, cleaned engine bay and polished :) Here some pics for you
  5. pics mandatory please mate :D

    How long ?

you will be fine mate, although they are blue the output will be more like white, this is what they looked like on my previous car first picture is compared to standard halogen bulb with clear lense. please note these were main beam bulbs
  7. got it from here Pete http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MUDFLAPS-FOR-SUBARU-MODELS-UNIVERSAL-FIT-MUD-FLAP-IMPREZA-FORESTER-LEGACY-JUSTY-/130660308395?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item1e6bf615ab#ht_496wt_722 they are universal fit so should fit majority of cars Ash also got them on his classic
  8. im sure we all done it at some point, inc me but if you ever have an accident and you are considerate decent person it will change you, i remember when i run over deer and whole car was wreck. i was within speed limit and had no chance of stopping, ever since i look at those things differently. i love german autobahns tho :P drove through germany 4 times this year and each time hit 120mph for a bit just to get that sensation and for sake of doing it legally :)
  9. yeah it doesnt take much for accident to happen. we all have heavy right foot sometimes but potential consequences should always be taken into consideration before hitting full throttle on public road
  10. awesome mate thank a million for that :)
  11. i know bit late but i was away on holidays and didnt have much access to news. This happened last Monday and tribute convoy followed last night which included 761 cars !!! This is cut from local papers: The 22-year-old man who died after a crash on Victoria Avenue last night has been named as Vitor Dinarte Fernandes. Two other people are currently in the General Hopsital being treated for injuries not thought to be life-threatening. The crash involving two vehicles happened near to the First Tower junction at around 10 pm. The man who died was treated at the scene and at the Accident and Emergency Department but died shortly afterwards. His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers from the States of Jersey Police. The two other people currently being treated in hospital are a 47-year-old woman and 18-year-old man. A man aged in his 20s was arrested a short time after the accident on suspicion of dangerous driving. He was due to be interviewed today. Victoria Avenue was closed to traffic while the police investigated. source: http://www.thisisjersey.com/news/2013/12/31/fatal-crash-on-victoria-avenue/ and this http://www.thisisjersey.com/news/2014/01/07/vitor-tribute/ very sad event and tragic end of year 2013, my thoughts with family on the other hand i find it bit awkward to organise tribute for someone who was street racing, running red lights and nearly killing other 2 innocent people
  12. haha i know what you mean mate. i dont mind getting out in bad weather if its for sake of seeing something extraordinary. but usually just get extraordinary cold lol
  13. there is lot of peeps over here who will always get out there and show power of weather in fascinating way :)
  14. Ash - thats them mate :) how did you make them fit on rear? did you have to use any special clips or screws? they came with 4 screws for each flap but screws are too small to fit into bumper holes. Thank s mate :)
  15. This is a picture from same place where i took my avatar pic :)
  16. No worries mate, you've been very helpful. thanks for puting me on right track i know (i think :) ) what to do now ;)
  17. yes mate it does but you need to bend them. and you're right they are bit hard. but you can bend them. just thought it wont look right
  18. what im trying to say is that in front arch its nice and flat so you just bolt them on. but on rear its not flat so you would have to bend it?
  19. i know what you mean mate but what seems strange is that you need something flat to mount that mudflaps against. i have 3 holes in bumper as well but they are in sort of vertical line. so half of the mudflap would not be bolted? anyway i will have to take rear wheels off to get proper access. but this is what it looks like
  20. anybody please?
  21. after standard double din unit for blobeye year 2003 if anyone has one please
  22. when you come next time give me a shout if you up for pint or two lol
  23. i think i will get a jet ski :)
