  2. doesnt sound that bad job, you are star mate thanks a lot
  3. im planning on doing it when it gets little warmer. do i just pressure wash it and then apply that sealant? i only have axle stands and jack dont really have access to ramp. but if i find garage who can do it for decent price i might consider leaving it to pros :)
  4. Just had this idea of doing this to my scooby as she was left outside for most of her life, when i looked under car some parts are bit rusty so just thought if its worth doing?
  5. thanks love :) next time im in mainland i give you shout ;)
  6. nice i like them a lot :) let us know how it looks when fitted cos i might go down this route instead of sti ones. what is your car mate anyway?
  7. haha i forgot to add that it only happens if i drink too much Guinness 259 quid ??? !Removed! hell thats new exhaust or cambelt kit :D typical me i always compare money with car parts :P
  8. thanks bud ;)
  9. are they wrx clocks mate ?
  10. thanks mate :) i know it was shocking. oil was like muddy water. same sort of stuff comes out of my rear end sometimes :P thanks god there is none of that nasty **** on the road over here. she feels like new car too lol
  11. Ok so finally weather has cleared for a bit and that meant me treating scooby to some tlc. She got 4 brand new tyres and tracking done. Then another bottle of redex fuel system cleaner + full tank obviously :) Also i had 5L of Motul Motylgear gearbox and differential oil from Opie oils sitting in the boot so got that changed and been pretty shocked to find that it hasnt been done in 10 years!!! how can people drive like that? Also found that on diff the filler plug was rusted in so had to soak it in wd40 and broke one ratchet on it :( if i recall correctly gearbox was supposed to hold 3.5L of oil and diff about 800ml, well i got 2.5L out of gearbox and 600ml from diff . new oil made sooo much difference. its a lot smoother and quieter now. After all was done she got washed, waxed, put rear mudflaps on, cleaned engine bay and polished :) Here some pics for you
  12. pics mandatory please mate :D
  13. got it from here Pete http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MUDFLAPS-FOR-SUBARU-MODELS-UNIVERSAL-FIT-MUD-FLAP-IMPREZA-FORESTER-LEGACY-JUSTY-/130660308395?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item1e6bf615ab#ht_496wt_722 they are universal fit so should fit majority of cars Ash also got them on his classic
  14. awesome mate thank a million for that :)
  15. Ash - thats them mate :) how did you make them fit on rear? did you have to use any special clips or screws? they came with 4 screws for each flap but screws are too small to fit into bumper holes. Thank s mate :)
  16. No worries mate, you've been very helpful. thanks for puting me on right track i know (i think :) ) what to do now ;)
  17. yes mate it does but you need to bend them. and you're right they are bit hard. but you can bend them. just thought it wont look right
  18. what im trying to say is that in front arch its nice and flat so you just bolt them on. but on rear its not flat so you would have to bend it?
  19. i know what you mean mate but what seems strange is that you need something flat to mount that mudflaps against. i have 3 holes in bumper as well but they are in sort of vertical line. so half of the mudflap would not be bolted? anyway i will have to take rear wheels off to get proper access. but this is what it looks like
  20. anybody please?
  21. after standard double din unit for blobeye year 2003 if anyone has one please
  22. so finally my new mudflaps arrived. so went on fitting fronts first which looks really good. but rears are bit of an worry. basically wheb i fitted fronts there is like a splash guard or whatever you call it onto which you can bolt your mudflap. but rear doesnt have it on the arch lip there are 3 holes and i suspect something was removed ? i didnt take pic of it yet, will do that tomorrow. any ideas please? here is pic of what they look like in front
  23. just been digging around on web :) Connectors between 02-05 models are the same, no matter if they are gx, wrx or sti, As you say there are more wires from sti which will be left unplugged causing diff and dccd light to stay on (which im not bothered about). rev limiter light should work no probs. only Thing im after really is more modern look. same Cluster i had in my first car- Mazda 323f :(
  24. or how about wrx clocks to make it easier? cos on gx them clocks Looks sooo ancient
