  2. Thats smart whats the difference with the wrx300 and a wrx is there more power or just diffrent seats and so on am fairly bew to scoobs aswell
  3. Quick question what dials should be in a ver3 sti as the ones in mine are plain black can i put digital ones in from a later classic and how hard are they to wire up

  5. Ok thats perfect going to paint inlet in next few days got to strip yours looks same inlet was it easy enough to strip looks like theres a lot to take off

  8. Very nice car what sort of method u use to paint the engine parts lookin to do some painting and cleaning on mine while engines out did u put hi temp on then normal paint on top or laquar

Heres my ver3 sti that has been off road for years, was bought by my mate for spares for is ra rally car but he has 2more so convinced him to sell me this one it needs a lot done to it but will be good fun allways wanted a scooby, the engine is out needing head gaskets done, the interior needs bolted down and steering rack put back in, plans for it are put it back to original with a few tweeks like exaust,filter,dump valve and tidy bay up paint a few bits also wanting to put a facelift front back on it as he bought if without and only has ore facelift parts will find some at a later date, was done today and took out the aircon and a clifford alarm that was in it as we dont have fob heres a few pics the quality is rubbish had to use old phone

  13. Thanks mine is a v3 but have pre facelift front just now as thats only bits ave got just now what are they standard do they have forged pistons rods etc as thought all stis do sorry for all questions my first scoob
  14. Is the ver3 a boxer master4 engine open deck are they good as in power wise

  20. Thanks and its a ver3 with a pre facelift front as thats only parts he has will get some pics next time am down starting putting some of it back together this weekend hopefully will be slow progress as am new to scoobs and never took on something needing this much done to it

  22. Thats good to no boy am getting it from says its a v3 engine when I looked it up couldnt find a pre facelift v3 sti so think cars a v2 and engines a v3 as he has about 3 stis in bits as spares for his rally car

Hi am gary from elgin in morayshire,getting a 1996 impreza classic ver3 sti as a project needs a fair bit doing engines out it needing head gaskets done, and rest of cars in bits but will be worth it, and keep me busy new to scoobs allways wanted one so it will be a long term project takeing my time putting it back together as never attempted this before so will have plenty of questions for use, look forward to speaking to some of use thanks
