thanks buddy, cars getting serviced on Friday, so I'll ask them if they are willing to fit the lines+discs+pads for me. Otherwise I'll have to drive to those chaps in Sheffield lol

yay me again :) Can someone do me a quick favor, when i get my brakes done, i want some new brake lines too. These ones on Ebay are the ones I was going to get, can anyone confirm they will fit? I'm pretty sure they will though, just after a little confirmation. thanks

i had a good think, I decided that whilst I would like some decent lights. I'll pass for now. Will just get some decent light bulbs instead

So I was looking for some new lightbulbs, mine are ok just fancy something brighter. And a mate suggested something like this Would anybody recommend for or against this? I'm guessing they are not road legal? thanks ;)

I just filled up with Shell Vpower You get either 2 points per litre of Vpower or 1 point per litre of normal fuel. I got 50bonus points for filling up with Vpower. The rewards come through quarterly, for each 500 points you get a £2.50 fuel voucher. Pretty fair i think :)

well, I couldn't wash the scoob because of the rain... however I did clean out the wheel arches. I think the last owner left their garden under there! lol, who designed that lip that collects all the gunk?

Yay, it's friday :) Anyone got any interesting plans? I'm going to wash my Scoob on sat morning, and the missus Astra on Sunday morning. Then pop out for some sunday lunch ;)

yeah I've let them know. Glad to hear they have a good reputation. Will be a bit of trip down there, but I think it will be worth it. Will be useful to speak to some Scooby gurus rather than the "normal" mechanics from my usual garage. Whilst they know their stuff, no doubt these guys have greater experience and knowledge when working with scoobs.

Glad i joined this forum, I think I'll take mine here to get my discs, pads and brake lines fitted. I tend to use a decent garage up here, but I don't quite trust them working on my scooby doing jobs other than a service or mot. Glad to hear its near meadow hall, will work as a good distraction for the missus.

well I don't know a great deal about engines (PC's are my thing) but that car looks very very nice.

Well, I sent black diamond an email, just asking if they could confirm a few part numbers would fit my scooby. Got a very pleasant reply, the guy gave me the part numbers for all the discs and pads that will fit my scooby. Pretty decent of them. :) Just waiting for a further reply, see if they can do me any brake lines. I can help but feel like my scooby should be blue though... haha

Thanks Jay, will take that into account. The Black Diamond discs seem to be priced quite well. Will have a look to see if i can find some for my model.

ooohhh, that does sound nice :) I guess its worth the extra few pence per litre then.

In that case, I will have to try the V Power fuel. Should I expect a few extra mpg out of it?
