  4. yeah matt its my top priority after the xmas hols, this may be a daft question but I guess a 3inch pipe is better then the 2.5inch pipe, and they both will fit my current and new turbo
  5. No stants not go exhast yet, it's just got a back box on was on car when I got it so don't no what make it is, been looking at the afterburner rapter from scoobyworld.
  6. I'd be happy with about 300bhp for now when I got my car it was boosting at 20psi becouse of a bust hose, now I have fix that it boost at 10 psi and just feels a little flat, it don't have any kick anymore, couple of people who have nosey ed at my car have said , not bad but it's only got a baby turbo on you need to stick a bigger 1 on like a sti, so it got me wondering if it would be a straight swap or would I need to fit a sti exhaust or wrx, would my induction pipe need changing, stuff like that, would the extra bhp I got be worth the extra cost?
  7. Hi guys.If I was to fit a bigger turbo to my wrx, say a sti turbo, would anything else need changing apart from havin a remap.N will I get more bhp after a remap then with my wrx turbo.[emoji12]

  11. Mine is fitted to a front mount intercooler, only need a 3inch peace of hose, a bit over vac pipe and 2 jubilee clips, I had them laying about the shed.I don't no how they fasten on a top mount intercooler, but u can get a bit vac pipe and hose from any motorist discount shop for a couple quid, couple clips a quid or so, so I'd say if they both fit the same way then works out cheaper without the fitting kit
  12. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/170780961686 thats the 1 I used but the same place does it with a fittin kit as well for about 100 quid.

Is their anyway I can find out if car has had a remap without taking it to be remapt, I not had car long the gsrage said last guy had it done but no dino sheet to prove it.and if I had it remap then changed the exhaust as it onky has peformance back box at min, would it need a remap again, would I be best to wait to remap it till I have done all mods for peformace.
  16. fittin a blow off value wont give your car anymore bhp and if your car is standed then the factory fitted value is ok, really onky need to upgrade on a modded car to deal with the extra pressure, look on youtube mighty car mods they test them on a dyno and show you get no more power using 1, most people have them just for the sound they make, guess some belive they make your car faster but they dont, you can phone bailey and they tell you best you would get is 1 maybe 2 bhp nothing you would nitice driving the car.their basicly just a safty value, mine is a bailey is quiet at low revs n just rite if booted, just rite means its not anoying if you had to listen to it all day.

At the min my car only has back box, front intercooler and induction kit fitted badly by the last owner, sorted them out now, someone told me he may have cut that pipe as a quick boch job to stop the wastegate cutting boost off, I was going to just turn it up to about 14 +15 psi with the controller till I get to a remap on my list and my finances can afford it.
  18. Hi guys, when I got my blobeye wrx it was boosting at 20 +22 psi and had a real nice kick when you put foot down. The other day I was checking my car over and found the pipe to the waste gate was split, so I replaced it with a new pipe, now it only boost to 10 psi with no exciting kick.I'v read on the Internet that is normal amount but it now feels like when it hits full boost 10 psi it's being held back and could do more, so I have bought a manual boost control and when it is dialed up it hits 20 psi again.what I want to no is is this safe or will it blow something and what boost does everyone else run on their car.

  24. hi guys.I'm changing my oil on saturday and my question to you who do it your self as well is,does anyone use a engine flush,is it any good, does it remove much crap? I mentioned it to a friend and they said be carefull as it can make a car run bad if your engine is old or worn, says it will remove the carbon n mess things up . Is that rite what he says as i'v never used 1 before,my engine got 90 thousand on clock.whats your thoughts and experiance with using it and how your car runs after.
