  1. Apologies for the delay, the trouble with engine bay pics is the amount of time the car has to be stationary to take them! [emoji6]
  2. I'll be there, most likely looking confused.
  3. Fresh from its first ever clean. It was starting to look a little too much like a rally car [emoji6] Of course this is nothing that isn't already online, except perhaps the parking sensors. I don't think they look too obvious... If anybody has any particular things they'd like a photo of (inside of the glove box or something, it takes all sorts) just ask!
  4. I asked today at the dealer. They said they'd ask Subaru. It seems unlikely that they'll find out but I thought it was worth a go!
  5. Just to be fair with my comments about Shelly. Went back today to sort out a 'balls up' in the paperwork (the salesman's words, not mine), and got to meet Andrew Shelly. Really nice guy, who genuinely seems to care. Fingers crossed that's the last time I need to go back now!
  6. Nope not me I'm afraid!
  7. I have to be fair, once I complained about their lack of communication it got much better, and they've been pretty honest about how much has gone wrong- but that doesn't really inspire confidence. Surrey Scoobies sounds like a good excuse for a bit of a run, I'll put it in the diary.
  8. Thanks for the welcome guys. It was Shelly Motors down in Surrey.
  9. Here's a question I can't find/work out the answer to: The boost gauge has come with the unit set to bar. I'd like it to be in PSI (which funnily enough, the car I test drove had). I cannot, for the life of me, work out how to change the unit. I've been through all the settings on all the displays, googled, and nada. Someone somewhere must know!
  10. It's a second gen. Good shout on painting one, daft not to consider it!
  11. Hi all, My missus' Forester could use a new front bumper and grill after some twonk ploughed into it when it was parked. It's a 52 plate XT if that makes a difference to the bodywork. Oh, I suppose the colour would help: it's the classic green and gold/silver two tone. Thanks in advance, Mike
  12. Hi all, Took delivery of my new WRX STI last week. Got 400 miles on it thus far, can't wait to hit the 1k so I can really push it (as hard as I dare anyway). Getting this far has been a bit of a mission, the dealer has been pants in every regard! I've got to go back this weekend and sign the finance agreement again as they've got the current one wrong. At least whilst I'm there I should get the rest of my boot interior back after they ripped it out to fit the parking sensors (after having to call someone in to do it for them). This is after I had to take the car back the day I got it (the day AFTER handover was supposed to happen with wet seats as the protective treatment wasn't dry) because the right hand tracking toe was -1.2mm front and +1mm back. It pulled left just a touch. Anyway, I'm rambling now... Mike
