Fixed hesitation after cleaning boost solenoid and MAP solenoid with contact cleaner in test mode and replaced vacuum hoses and a enthusiastic drive all is good [emoji3]

Yeah going to get some plugs and few metres of vac line and replace as much as I can due to the amount of they produce under the bonnet

Nothing in it its very slight thinking vac pipes in poor condition or sticking boost solenoid

I got hesitation under heavy acceleration/ heavy load eg up hill great better have a look at that

Took the old girl to work today first time it's been driven in 6 months had a play with a lotus elise unfortunately no match for the grunt of the scooby

With out looking no I've got a classic so it's a bit different but if look around the manifold you may find a pipe that's been blocked off etc

I use slightly thicker oil due to being driven hard and free flow oil filter

Hks pink filter and 10w40 magnatec oil

You can buy make your kits from demon tweeks and possibly else comes with unions etc cheaper than buying pre made

All MOT'D and waxoyled it when I was there

Just had a thought could be purge solenoid valve for the fuel system is it on the right side of the engine bay next to the filter. If it is may have been blanked of or left disconnected by someone not knowing what there doing

Looks like some sort of solenoid, does it pull a vacuum when running/loading the engine.

MOT tomorrow morning can't wait to drive the old girl again
