Thats a good dent, creased the door skin might need paint to repair [emoji22]. I know how it feels when I had my gti6 I just finished putting spax suspension kit all round and got dent doctor to remove all the little dints the a week later that happened and the bloke just shrugged his shoulders and drove off [emoji35]

Had this on mine check the heat shield on the turbo isn't touching the waste gate actuator arm. Mine was catching it had the same symptoms

Thought I'll treat the old scooby to some nice bits with some 10w40 castrol magnetic with a bit of slick 50 oil seal replenishing additive runs sweet as a nut

As long as they have a digital alignment setup and height measuring equipment you won't have a problem. Unless you are giving it some round a track all the time so manufacturer specifications should be fine

Ordered HKS oil filter and BMC panel filter, resonator delete and strip clean offside front wheel arch and suspension strut

Finished install high flow fan jets for intercooler spray, waxolyed wheel arch and polished caliper. Now chilling with a well deserved beer :-)

is 8 inch too wide for a classic
Stay with 7.5"x17" will handle better. If start going 8x18 you will scrub on full lock and over bumps

Painting the intercooler can reduce heat soak. Apart from that water/meth spray on intercooler or into turbo this is the cheaper route than front mount and more efficient air intake temperature reduction and the kit can be made for diy. Currently building mine will be switched to start with but will make it activate by boost pressure
