Still going to wait some weeks for a second hand part but if all fails I need some options and this is £60 cheaper than scoobyworld

Overheating!!!
Thanks this is my first scoob and I'm learning so much from it. As you said the only time coolant became visible (steam) was over 3K rpm. I think it was a good time to flush the system anyway. Took a fair while to bleed though :D

Overheating!!!
Quick update in case anyone else suffers similar issues found a barely visible hairline crack on the plastic at the top of the rad, got a replacement from euro car parts and very impressed, fit perfectly and seems to be doing the job nicely

Newage decat dp 3" to 2.5"

Overheating!!!
It's actually spread across the top of the rad so I can't pin point. The plastic expansion tank (I assume this is the one behind the rad and not the tank further back with a proper rad cap on) has a slow but steady stream of small bubbles coming through and I think over the last 2 days it has lost a small amount of coolant. I can't see any cracks but am aware this is a common fault on the rads. Have bought a new one and fitting Wednesday so I'm hoping that's the solution. I take it you don't think it is something more sinister than that?

Overheating!!!
Have an overheating problem... suspected rad failure as can see slight coolant build up on top of the rad, think I may need a new one... Any recommendations? Could do with a new one asap and not looking for anything special just one that does the job...standard 2002 wrx bug so nothing major to cool just standard components all in the usual places. Any help much needed here do not need this right now. Live in the south east UK West Sussex I have seen that Euro Car Parts do one for £60-£70 next day delivery...anyone know if these are any good? Thanks

Think I may have asked before but baffleless exit wanted
Similar to this (afterburner xtreme or Roger Clark Motorsport Team Ice exhaust) must fit newage 2.5" In the south east UK

Baffless Exhaust
Yeah they seem really nice - Just a little far for me to travel...the part I want will be super easy to fabricate I am suprised more retailers don't make them for show use
-
Baffless Exhaust
Just got a reply from Cobra who no longer make these in batch and only custom make if you go to their shop in Sheffield - out of my radius but for anyone else who was looking at getting one of these if you want to make the journey they will make it for you there.
-
Baffless Exhaust
Yeah - I have seen these around a couple of times but can't seem to find any on the second hand market They are definitely not for everyday use
-
Baffless Exhaust
Just to add to this anyone know if a fabricator in the south East, Sussex/surrey area?
-
Baffless Exhaust
looking for a baffless backbox for shows only http://scoobyworld.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=24_52&products_id=1480 2.5" fitment I know that there are a few versions of the TeamICE and Cobra racetube are some examples...checking out used parts before heading to a custom manufacturer which are bound to be cheaper than scoobyworlds £200 price tag

2.5" Bore Catpipe 2001-2005 (decat)
Looking to replace the cat before the resonated centre section to a decat. Will be looking to get this from scoobyworld but wanted to check if anyone had one on here I could grab second hand before I get one. Only want to delete 1 cat for the moment, I believe this is a pretty straightforward swap. Cheers
