Well took car in and not good needs drop links/front shocks/pads all around/maf sensor/rear discs/ clutch flywheel and my gearbox is getting reconditioned when it's out just to be on the safe side on top of that am going to need a service and might aswell throw a diff oil change in aswell what a nightmare 😂😂😂 Sent from my SM-G928F using Tapatalk

Hi could this be my clutch flywheel on way out when dipping clutch getting a shhh noise and when am in gear decelerating am getting a rattle noise am also getting this noise when changing down gears and letting clutch out a doing get the rattle under acceleration but do get a similar shhh noise my clutch has got a pretty high bite point as far as a know is original clutch on 61k 05 car thanks for any advice and sorry about the bad description but am not clued up on cars 😂😂😂 Sent from my SM-G928F using Tapatalk

Well was Friday but got 4 new Michelin pilot sport 3 tiers not sure if there any good lol and car had mot flew through no problem not bad for 05 car also had timing belt done and service 2 weeks ago so just about sorted for a little bit Sent from my SM-G928F using Tapatalk

A just put car in and told them to fix it God knows what went on but no clunk and feels sound just glad it's fixed cost £550 for it fixed

well car is fixed and ready to pick up at last no rear clunk when a get it back also had to replace 2 cv boots as thay had split :)

A know I might sound silly but am not very clued up with cars what is it that will be broke is it the full system or just shockers just my back end is not bouncy had car back in garage and that said the warranty won't fix it as it won't fail a mot am fuming as a told them about the knock 2 weeks after a bought the car if it's going to cost a grand a might just take a hit on the car and trade it in Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk

av got the same problem aswell on my 05 blob knocking clunking and when a brake hard and come to a stop it feels like it drops its got my head done in what will fix it and how much am a looking at for it fixed at a garage

Must be shockers a think but am not so good with cars that's why it has my head in bits and a worry over silly things

Strange hate silly things like that I have a knock front back end people say thay can hear and feel it around back seat so going to book car in garage as it's got warranty till September so want it sorted

Mine did sound like that thought 100% was driver side and it was but when took car home still sounded the same thay did tell me I may also have to have other side changed and a did both sides was shot and the noise seems to move you would think the old side will be shot not the new one most likely been on car same time so if one has gone the other won't be in very good nick

Is your other side old my money would be on the old side thay can sound like that mine was like that on my BMW got the side changed I thought was shot and it was but drove car with same noise and had to get the other side changed

I just got car 8 weeks ago come with a fresh service so not sure on what kind of oil was used probably just what grade subaru recommend I got the garage to put a timing belt kit on and new water pump car is stock I done about 1200 miles after I got car and had a noise that stared off like a knock then a rattle as the car reved put it back in and thay said something had come loose maybe it's just that starting again av now done 2200 miles since a got car and it's never used any oil just thought if your car had piston slap it might use more oil just so it can be ruled out

Just a quick one if your car has piston slap would you use more engine oil my car has a knock in morning for a little bit till it get up to temp but I did have a noise like this a few weeks ago start off like this and turned out to be something loose in the engine my car only has 42k on and is a 2.0l blob wrx maybe it's just me and the bracket is starting to come loose again thanks for any advice

Niceone mate am sure you keeping it will be the best thing to do you could of got a car that was cheaper to run and so on but how many problems could it of give you as a found out it cost me more to keep so called cheaper cars on the road with repairs and so on and being boring drives as well
