I have taken the wheels off the car so it's back to standard as a friend wanted them. I have also reduced the car to £2000 exactly to see if sells

The link to ebay is above, it's still for sale but I'm not actively pushing it anymore of that makes sense. Had loads of time wasters over it so it's currently sat covered up to be left for a while, I think ebay just attracts a lot idiots. The problem with ebay is that people can almost anonymously make stupid offers and waste your time and you almost have to go along with it before you realise actually they are yet another time waster. That said, if he's interested let me know

Cool, let me know... Getting a serious amount of time wasters on eBay at the moment to the point where I might just pull it off and cover it up, I think people have a drink in the evening and then start making stupid offers on cars. Here's the ebay number anyway 171771230228 Milage is 111k

Will the classic ever be a classic?
Sorry about the confusing title, the reason I write is because I have recently placed my standard ( except exhaust) impreza classic turbo 2000 for sale and I have had 4 people ring me now with the intention of putting the car away in the hope that it will go the same way ( although I expect not the the same extent ) as the delta intergrale, Sierra cosworths and audi quattros. The reason I found this interesting is because although I can't see them ever being worth a lot I am now wondering if they have a point?? I purchased my Bmw e30 just before they started rocketing up in value for some un known reason and a quick search online reveals a few articles that are predicting them as possible future investment cars. I know ltd editions are the first to go up, and anything slightly exotic so I'm not suggesting my old turbo 2000 is going to be a money spinner but do you think it's worth just covering up and leaving in the corner? It may well be one of those cars that in the future people wish they never sold.... For example, I wish I hadn't sold an escort, a 205gti and a 325i sport but I did when I should of just covered them up and left them.. Thoughts anyone??

Yes it's very tidy, looked for ages for it but needs must, wasn't expecting the house to be for sale for a few months yet but hey ho- 1997 Turbo 2000
Hi all £2550 I haven't had this car too long but a change in circumstances means it may have to go ( a house I wanted to but to rent out has come up for sale and I need to raise the deposit) This is a bit of a feeler really as I have a few cars and I'll sell whichever sells first and that should see me ok. Anyway, it's a 1997 turbo 2000 2 owner car ( 1 owner from new to 2014) Service history Recent clutch Cambelt done 500 miles ago Servied 500 miles a go Body work in excellent order Interior also in excellent condition No smoke from the engine nasty knocks. 111k Asking. £2550- Big Northwest Meet DBW
When's the next meet? I'm in cheshire- What have you done to your Subaru today ?

Just get it sorted as to what's happening and send it Monday just to be 100% it goes your way. Glad the ankles ok. I'll take a pic of the mountain of protection that was around the lights if they need any. Managed to source a single light off eBay today. Does anyone know if the auto adjust can be swapped with a manual adjuster set up? Or can the glass be removed from the clips? The one coming is a Manual adjust- Clive's classic clearout
No worries mate, don't panic and hope the ankle isn't too bad... The clear lenses make a huge difference btw- Clive's classic clearout

I opened the seperate box up and the spots are fine :) I think if they had been handled with care they would of made it fine, part of the lense has smashed in a chunk and gone into the inside of the light so I think it has to of been dropped or thrown and had a real sharp impact... Hope it they don't kick up to much of a fuss. To be fair I have heard the post office are ok about stuff like this and if they need to ring me then pass on my details- Clive's classic clearout
I couldn't believe it, my mate came over tonight and as opened it he commented that they were well wrapped... They must of been literally thrown around to do so much damage. The large crack at the bottom was almost covered in tape so that must of taken a hell of a knock so smash it. I haven't opened the spots but I will do in the next 15 mins. Let me know if you need more pics or anything. Sorry for all the messing around over these lights mate- Clive's classic clearout
