  1. Geek alert from me but engine cleaner, leave for ten mins, brush in with a tooth brush which takes a lil while. Light steam wash and repeat. Then WD which is outstanding stuff for removing oil, brush in and jet wash. Make sure your engine is warm before you do it. If your running a top mount intercooler with a dump valve keep away from it
  2. Ok guys just putting the feelers out there for a POTENTIAL meet 22nd November 11am to meet in Tesco Neath just off the A465, breakfast and then convoy down to mumbles? Tesco neath is easy to get to from the Valley literally A465 all the way.... from Cardiff, Bridgend M4 then A465. Its the most central place i can think of. Brywithay if you want to have a word with Cymraeg guys the more the better. I will see if i can get an area blocked off for us in tescos i do a great deal of business with them...not shopping now guys....Let me know whos in. Haydnp1987 dont forget your pennies for the slot machines! lol
  3. It's mumbles not Mumbai!! Come on, I will even buy you an icecream!!
  4. Dont stress linx, there will be others soon. We spoke about a possible cheeky meet down mumbles maybe before xmas if your onboard? Maybe meet up Danpows area and come down in convoy?
  5. What a machine. Whats it running?

  7. This is my much loved classic subaru wrx 2000. I did post some photos on here a few months ago when she was totally standard but recently i have got a bit excited with the toys. I have added a new oversized top mount intercooler, 3" ninja from the turbo, decat up pipe, imported 32mm spacers, crystals all on the front and reduced number plate size. I am trying to keep the body looking as standard as possible. If you are thinking of a front mount intercooler but dont want the trouble of cutting and fitting then i strongly recommend importing an oversized top mount as its easy to fit and i have had some serious gains from it.

  11. Iv heard of people doing it but never felt the need mate. Not a weekend job, half hour/45 mind with the right tools? Make sure you locate all the screws out of the door card and start popping the door from the bottom then work around and up. Check behind the actual door leaver and in the handle then pop pop pop. If you feel it's getting complicated for any reason, take photos on your phone and refer back to them. Lil trick I learned after I kept finding spare bits lol!!!
  12. Either off the runner or the window reg. door card off, remove the plastic cover keep the switch connected and move it up and down to see if the runner is moving up and down as well as check to see if the window is still in the correct position. If not it's the regulator or motor as some call it. Common on these a real pain in the tail. You said you can hear it and the others work so the fuse is ok but worth a little look anyway. Second hand motor about £20-30?
  13. Nice lil meet guys for first time, great to see haydnp1987 representing some serious power. Danpow cheers for organising, next time all welcome down my way do the mumbles run or gower run? Offer is there. I took some pics and will upload when I'm back in the office tomorrow!!!
  14. Now the truth is out, makes much more sense pmsl!!
  15. The slats kept falling through??? Are you sure that's what happened to them gambit???wink wink
  16. Paper plates lol you Eder, I don't envy you moving this time of year. We bought this house last year and moved in December 16th! One year old son also! We had no sofa as it wasn't delivered until January! We had a tree and I contemplated with the paper plate then that's why I laughed!
  17. Paaaaa that's hilarious! Mines due home now so naturally done a lap of the whole house with the air freshener and left the Hoover out. Don't say you haven't done it!!!! Lmao
  18. Haydnp1987 you still meeting tomorrow? If so il have a lil look at it for you. Il bring a blank invoice lol
  19. I'd say airbag but I just looked under mine but I'd assume it would be under the carpet on these. Found a quid though! When I pulled the seats out before I had the same connector, as long as nothing is on the dash don't stress too much but I would slide the seat right back tourch under and have a good butchers. It won't be far from the end as its a short wire.
  20. Is the top even connected to anything? It looks like it's not? Defo not an amp wire it's pinned
