Hello all, I need to get some work done of my 2005 Forester 2.5 XT: - replace headlight (passenger side) - if anyone has a HID light for this late 55 plate model I would be interested in buying it. - Blank off the secondary air injection system and remap. The secondary air pump has seized - apparently a common issue and Subaru want approx £800 for a replacement plus the replacement valves !!!!! - Sort out the performance as its got delays and missing at low revs - perhaps an air flow meter issue? I used to use Performance cars in Newbridge but the Subaru guy is leaving there very soon. Does anyone know any good non dealer garages in or near the South Wales area that know Subaru's and do this type of work ? Cheers

Hi all, Not sure if anyone can help but I'm looking for a headlamp unit for a Forester late 05 model (passenger side - right hand drive vehicle). I'm told it runs on a high voltage system. Photos attached. Any help appreciated as I'm drawing a blank on the breakers search engines. Does anyone have a headlamp or good contacts for subara breakers

Miggs, yes the calipers are sticking, I have bought a piston kit in the pas which worked for a while but I think I damaged the rubber boot when fitting the one side and that's the one that's is sticking.

Hi all, has anyone found a good contact for replacement twin pot tokico brake calipers ? I'm trying to replace the front ones off my 2005 XT but have been sent the wrong ones which have a larger span between the piston across the gap to the housing. The ones I have seen and been sent are all 74mm across the gap whereas mine measures 68mm. Any help much appreciated

Hi all, I've recently had the engine warning light come on along with a flashing cruise control symbol i.e. not working . I'm advised that the air pulse system is faulty - valves seized and pump partially seized. If I get it fully repaired using subaru parts I'm looking at £1200 costs ! I'm told it can be re mapped for approx £500. Has anyone got any experience of this, it does'nt seem to overly effect performance so I assume its something to do with emmissions ?
