  1. Our 2004 forester x has a broken front near side window mechanism, I take it it's the motor as when you press the button to go down it just makes a clicking sound but no movement, any advice, help, or pointers (no instructions that I would find physically impossible if you get my drift ) hehe
  2. Thanks guys, I get a wee kick when people take the time to help, it's good 😊
  3. Hello peeps another new member here, I am looking to try and get a rear subframe for our 2004 forester 2.0 litre X either original parts numbers, some method of cross referencing numbers, that kind of thing, or I think I'll just go stone mad 😡 and partake of the falling down watter ( Scottish pronounciation) aaaaaahhhhhhhh, thanks
  4. Hello folks I am new here so please be patient as I need to learn the ins and outs, ta, my wife drives a 2004 forester, I can no longer drive due to eye condition, I'm kind of like the wee felt dugs that used to sit in the rear windows of cars, in a galaxy far far away. We have the 2liter non turbo all weather car, with 96,000 on the clock and it cost us £1550. A couple of days after purchasing it, the rear brake pipes failed, something else but I forget but anyway the mechanic says we might need a ( new one ?) rear subframe. Car is due its mot in January sometime. Any suggestion much appreciated, when I said " we" I meant the car as we are far too much gone for any help.
