Just happened to mine exactly same symptoms. Wheel bearing, couldn't tell which side. Jack rear end up, grab top and bottom of rear wheels and wiggle. If there's play, then it's gone

Does the 6speed from the later impreza fit onto wrx classic? If not, would I need to buy a new rear diff if I upgraded to the type RA box with lsd? Don't want to be sticking same gearbox back in once it's out, I'd rather upgrade any advice would be appreciated cheers 👍

Anybody want these? Really light freshly refurbished less than 50miles ago absolutely mint. One was welded all straight and true. All brand new tyres again 50mikes ago. Think they're bug eye sti alloys. Says tarmac on them if that means anything. Need smaller wheels as 18's on this just don't suit in my opinion
