  1. Thought I'd throw in a couple of pics I had :-) Any other Outback owners out there with experiences/opinions for/against ? Rgds
  2. Hi all Have just (re)joined SOC (messed up my PW but Trevor has kindly sorted me :-) Have had assorted Scoobies over the years ('94 (I think) SVX, '03 and '04 Forester XT, '00 Impreza, 2x '54 Outbacks, '05 Legacy Est.) and now '10 Outback SE 2.5. In t'stix of Northumberland here it's ideal, but now I've gone for early retirement (bread+water - ish ;-) have been (nicely) told by 'Er Indoors to stop clarting about with car-swaps and stay with this one. To be honest she's right - it does what we need it to do - looks smart, can carry/pull a load if required, automatic (lazy git), has the necessary standard toys (VDC / cruise / heated seats / paddles) while dispensing with (for me) the un-necessary ones - sat nav (have own excellent Garmin) / EyeSight (?!) etc. Have 'pimped' it up for our needs - tints / rear sensors (fixed under wtty) / towbar (as part of purchase-deal) then front-sensors / side-steps / wheel-arch trims / mudflaps / front+rear dashcams (lorra loons these days) / DRL's (latter all DIY). Had it now for 2yrs (in Dec). bought with 20K on the clock (yes, for a 2010 ;-) and still on the (swapped/fitted at purchase) Nokian WR-SUV3's, now at 47k, which I reckon is not bad going ? May not be the latest/greatest with soopa bells+whistles - but until expensive bits start dropping off, reckon this one's a keeper for now. Slap on the trailer with 12x hay-bales or fill the boot with c. 7 sacks with feed and a few cat-litter - it doesn't even notice...and that's even with the (sometimes poo-poo'd) CVT ! Pics available (of this and the previous one's mentioned) should anyone be interested Have a good day :-)
