Floyd9t8 Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 The front two seat belts squeal like you wouldn't believe everytime you pull them to put them on. I am presuming it is just a case of getting some lube on the roller part.......so the question is how do i get that roller bit? Where are the screws etc which need to be removed from the relevant panel. Cheers.
Gaulson Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 I've been told to polish the plastic bits and yes probably a bit of lube on the moving parts
JusNoGood Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 Ah no. I've sorted mine....you pull off the plastic guard (running from floor up to the seatbelt holder) and then shave off a plastic bar inside it that the seatbelt rubs against. Let me try and find a link. It took me 5 minutes to do
JusNoGood Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 Here you go.... http://bbs.scoobynet.com/technical-topics-archive-427/715237-fix-for-that-squeaky-seatbelt.html
Floyd9t8 Posted October 22, 2014 Author Posted October 22, 2014 Cheers for that, i will be doing it tomorrow so will check back in with the results.
