Can anyone help please.

I have a 2009 wrxs hatchback, over the last week the battery light stays on when starting from cold ( only after being left overnight etc). If I turn the car off and restart it goes off, and doesn't come back on until it's been left for a long time ( overnight ).

The battery is good, it starts alright, and it charges when the light isn't on. Its just odd that it just stays on after the first cold sart up, each time !!

Any help appreciated.

To me it sounds like you got something draining your battery overnight. It could be battery tho. Have the battery health tested.
