V4 import sti water in rear passenger side quater?

Featured Replies

Hey guys/girls,just wondering if anyone's had a simliar issue. No water coming in from the light cluster or from the wheel arch side, could it just be condensation or is it getting in from somewhere i've not thought of?Just in the part where the jack is located.

Any help would be great, thanks in advance.

Dave

Dodgey grommet around the aerial? Dodgey boot seal.

Best way to test is to jump in the boot with a torch, get a mate to spray water around the boot seal and aerial whilst you look for water ingress with the torch.

ok Pete, ill try that there was a tiny hole inside the rear arch which i had welded up and treated.

Now there seems to be a tiny amount accumilating over a period of about a month ish maybe afew teaspoons worth but as i want to own this car for the next 10 years at least this need's sorting sooner rather than later.
