Hi, I've had an X reg Subaru Legacy estate for 12 months now and I still can't work out how to plug the aerial into my stereo. What I mean is the cable is there but the cable isn't attached to anything so the radio doesn't work. Can anyone please tell me what I'm doing wrong please?

Hi mate, what stereo do you have ? Is the ariel lead one with a black circle attached with a 90° bend or straight phono type? You may need a male to female adaptor

Hi, it's a Sony Xplod I think, I think the cable is with the 90 degree bend. Sorry to be a bit vague but I've not really had time to investigate properly, I didn't want to start take the dashboard to bits if it's an easy fix

I'm guessing that if you just slide the radio out and take it to a motor factors, the should be able to look at both ends and tell you which one you need, not sure if you have a wilko motorsave near you but the adaptors cost about a fiver, probably a bit more from halfords
