April 5, 201510 yr Hi guys couple of questions 1 had a full decat system fitted been fine for three weeks now the oxygen señor has heater element fault so need to fit a new one obviously but will it fail again as a result of having a decat on 2 turbo comes in but doesn't boost to full pressure until five thousand rpm boosts to 14psi then drops straight to 12 psi and holds at that is this normal Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
April 5, 201510 yr Sounds like it needs a remap as the turbo will be expecting some back pressure from the cats. It will also get rid of the eml that's being thrown by the O2 sensor and you'll be able to have the boost come in earlier with no spiking

April 5, 201510 yr Most mappers are willing to travel, there's open source software called carberry which is cheaper than ecutek as you don't have to pay the £150 licence fee

April 6, 201510 yr Ok, well if you don't get the engine light sorted before the mot it will fail. You'll need a friendly tester if it foesn't have a cat in anyway
April 6, 201510 yr you can also get an 02 cheat sensor adaptor which sits the sensor back a bit so its not directly in the pipe causing issues like eml and will still do its job
