Hi guys anyone know where the coolant temp sensor is on a 2004 impreza wrx, i thk its under the alternator but theres two under there, is it the sensor facing down to the ground or the sensor facing to the back of the car ?

Hi mate, not entirely sure as there should be a crank angle sensor under there at 90° to the top of the block, possibly red plug if I remember correctly, can you get a pic up ?

I've moved into the engine section should get a better response there [emoji3]

I thk the coolant sensor goes into the cross over pipe which the top one does look as if it does ?

I forgot about oil temp sensor so the oil temp straight into block downwards, crank sensor goes right side of pic an the water should be the one that's facing away in your pic towards the rear of the car
